This is beautiful, tragic and sad all at once. I've seen a lot of people on here try to do rhyme ... and not succeed. They don't take the care that you have obviously taken here, making sure each rhyme fits ... tending to the rhythm of the poem while maintaining the integrity of the message. These are some of your best words.

I do love rythym and rhyme, and finding that perfect meter, and I think that has a lot to do with why I can (often)do it. If you try to force it, it shows, glaringly.

LOL! Well CSG just seems so bloody impersonal, and I refuse to say it!
exquisite poem ..you have conveyed the complexities of reading others words and how we can easily mislead or misinterpret things..and how we look for meaning between the lines ..love this.
This is an elegant love poem directed at someone who may well not be worthy of the poet.
A man could be accomplished in every field of endeavor, and if he did not possess the inclination or the wherewithal to love you, what good would he be to you? Sometimes, we not only want things we can't have, we want things we shouldn't have; indeed, things we would be most fortunate not to get.
A wonderful bit of work created by an extremely tal;ented woman who does not love herself nearly enough.
Poet to poet...writer to writer...expressions find the parallels wanted and sometimes not. And surprisingly enough, it isn't always about the rhythm or the rhyme.
Nicely expressed...!

Hello, I'm known as LA or LL. I am a bit of an enigma, but I like it that way. I'm on a bit of a hiatus from the site for now, as life has gotten a little busy, but I shall return.
