The I's Have It

The I's Have It

A Poem by LA Lorena

I will

I do

I did

I can't

I don't

I want half, and joint custody

I am

So much power in little words...poem full of them has more meaning and thought-provoking abilities then a philosophy book. So true...nicely penned. I love this poem by the way. The flow is nice, the words logical. I feel like I should be drinking tea and wrapped in a blanket as I sit here reading tonight (not something I often do). Where I just read (mainly stories and poetry. I love this!

There were two negatives in the poem. Symbolizing where the break-up begins. I guess its the progression of the marriage and its end. 'I am' is the blissful freedom every woman utimately dreams of.

Like this little rant. Why are we getting it in the neck recently, what have we done?
Would swap round the 'I do' and the 'I am'

I love it. The two most important words in the English language: I AM.

Very clever!! So much happens after the "I do"! -I would, I could, I should....makes me think of other "I's"! My favorite is, "I will survive"!
