Precious SmileA Poem by Brandon LangleySo I'm getting back into the swing of things
The language flies out,
From the man in the back, And meanwhile I'm looking about, And then, I get an anxiety attack, 'Cause I see you. I've filled my quota of learning, For the day, Time to start my yearning, Even though the sky's till grey, 'Cause I see you. I might crack a joke, 'Bout the Jap to your left, I might act like I've just awoke, If I can see your smile, I'm blessed, 'Cause I see you. Never noticed how gorgeous you were, Never thought to turn around, Maybe it was just the liqueur, So, baby, play your own sound, 'Cause I see you. You might be belle, But is there anybody in there? 'Cause I can't really tell, I'm so distracted by that blond hair, 'Cause I see you.
