Itchy

Itchy

A Poem by Brandon Langley
"

How can an itch change a man so much? Maybe its not an itch. Only so much torture can a man's heart take... Before he snaps...

"
The bugs,
They crawl beneath my skin.
Little legs,
Patting about, I can't take it.
I could tear it off,
I can't take it.
Please,
Just take it off.
All the little spots,
They need my attention,
But I can't reach with my fingers.
What is it in his pocketses, precious?
I flip the switch to reveal the blade,
Ready to open.
Aaaaaahhhhh...
Sweet relief...

Well I don't know why I came here tonight,
I got the feeling that something ain't right,
I'm so scared in case I fall off my chair,
And I'm wondering how I'll get down the stairs,
Clowns to the left of me,
Jokers to the right, here I am,
Stuck in the middle with you.
