To Let You Go

Another digression from the truth. I've said some things over the past few days that, upon closer self-inspection, and inspection into others, has revealed how s**t my life really is...

I'm not sure you know,

How bad it feels,

To let you go.

I may have jumped to conclusions,

Just a smidge,

Maybe these feelings weren't there.

As the gloom returns,

I take a moment to reflect,

To look at the situation.

And I see,

There was nothing there,

Nothing real, anyway.
