A DissapointmentA Poem by Brandon LangleyThis poem was inspired by my disappointing drunk of a mother...I asked you to stop, But you never will, How can I trust you? Your drink, I wanted you to drop, I tried to pour it, but you let out a shrill, Your drinks, you must bid adieu. You complain about my negligence, Using it as a red herring, You treat me like dirt. You don't care about my future tense, I'm sick of declaring, That your drinking leaves me hurt.
