Yellow Paved EnduranceA Poem by L4rn13Emotionally unstable yet unwillingly able To pursue such happiness that exists within a fable...
Trundle through the mistakes though they must be made
Because life is a journey and we all have to fade. One problem however that must be expressed Is the lack of feeling within the breast. They no longer see me for who I am But the smiling innocent I thrust forth. When the truth is revealed they don't like what they see They'll torture and bruise until they eventually leave. Life is but a ride they'll assure and what is left of you, Till you die you must always endure. Trundle through the mistakes though they must be made Because life is a journey and we all have to fade. Emotionally unstable yet unwillingly able To pursue such happiness that exists within a fable. It is not known as a lie or a dead dream to unfathom But a matter of heart and tales of babble. They may be friends now and forever, Maybe for a day, perhaps tomorrow or never. But unanounced love is never the right way, The easiest option of course but the heart will always sway. Life is but a ride they'll assure and what is left of you, Till you die you must always endure. No matter the truth, no matter the lie, Do what is right for you till the day your soul flies. © 2014 L4rn13Author's Note
