A Night in...A Poem by L4rn13Drink into a stupor and forget That this week was a hassle and sit and fidget...
Let it be said you left him instead,
Got drunk for a bunk Strung in some other's bed. No tears were shed just two friends in a set, The three became two and the one is all wet. Just don't fret. To be left with no home to return, Arguments leave pages burned, Lies once told had severed the fold. No one knows all was given, For a place to call my own, Lonely and thrown, Friends were out but the phone was cold. No tears were shed just two friends in a set, The three became two and the one is all wet. Just don't fret. Drink into a stupor and forget That this week was a hassle and sit and fidget. No one will ask, Don't expect such a task, Just drag you feet on, Forever forward to the greener grass. No tears were shed just two friends in a set, The three became two and the one is all wet. © 2014 L4rn13 |
