Not a Transition...

Not a Transition...

A Poem by L4rn13
"

Don't take what you have for granted...

"
When will this hunger be quenched.
I have taken to believing a demon resides in me,
You get too close I will growl.
Hear and mark the sounds it makes for it could be your last mistake
and for my sake,
Shut the gate on my mind for me.
For I seem to have lost such demeanor over myself,
Well wish me luck for I am to be 'me' on this one.
Shuddering and think what more must sink below this level,
You laugh I cry
I hurt you smile
Yet all the while,
The demon within  waits in anger.
I can attempt to lie, to live in my own world and believe I am as I wish to be...
But let me see,
Let me stare into those big blue eyes...
Wait...Weren't mine...brown...

Poem from a Poet... I shan't befuddle your mind With poems of vampires Or quadruple signs, But rather rhythmful beats. For I am a poet And express through torn seams The stories of the heart,.. more..
