Change is dawning...Wish it wasn't so...A Poem by L4rn13For my close friend Beaman...Though he will never know...
So demonstrate the fallen and harken that cry
For as its always been just try and try. Though for me it will be to no avail I'll be left to pick those severed pieces. "Patch forth that backbone and try again lad." It says but the bones are dust For the grinding of such a boulder has given way. Hurts over and over yet they say such is life. But so see it within its simplistic form is truely mesmerising. I was once there. How difficult is it to gain it back? "Find it..." Well time is no longer a mistress with a sway Just an anorexic left to decay. If there was but one chance for my help to provide, It would have been given. Still its a Libra like slide, To help once is to get stuck. To help twice isn't nice, But to help thrice you can get caught. An unfortunate wheel perhaps. Though now her bones are star pieces of dust reflecting the rays of the sun, Will she be so kind to allow me to retract my helping hand? Perhaps though there is doubt. Ah well. We'll all just relax for now. Recuperation is necessary. © 2013 L4rn13 |
