Not my Confession II

Not my Confession II

A Poem by L4rn13
"

Hefting the swollen heart within both palms. Its so heavy it nearly drags across the gravel. *sigh*

"
You continue to ambush
The never ending texts
Te messages and the meet ups.
Nice to see you to see you nice!
But why?
There is a line before you facing me
Yet can't seem to remove the tumour
The nagging feeling.
Not one for soppy displays of affection
Yet others do so to me
Hugging and holding the sensation of feeling
But everytime its the smack in the face with that shovel
Like a hit from nicotine.
Ah sweet vicious nicotine.
Poison you can never be rid of as it clouds the bodily functions
While being oblivious is no longer an option,
Pretence can hold.
Never wish it but it must for the road to continue all the same
Though that line grows longer all the way.
Done my part though nothing stays
What's next? What's left?
Another will approach and say those words
But the one that should will never acknowledge my slowing heart.
This can not continue.
Actions mean alot to few
But what about you?

About
Poem from a Poet... I shan't befuddle your mind With poems of vampires Or quadruple signs, But rather rhythmful beats. For I am a poet And express through torn seams The stories of the heart,.. more..
