Fire's White GatesA Poem by L4rn13I have placed this under 'journal' because I wanted to try something different. A mix of both poetry and a journal entry. Please let me know what you think. It is a snippet of meditation journey.
Some imagine Fire's Gates to be red,
But my mind's eye displayed differently. Walking down an invisible path, I stopped dead. Pearly white gates before me Securely shut. Ironically I knocked Bowed and called asking for entry. But still I was blocked. The white fire burned and danced, Was he mad? It had been a while since I visited Saddened at having missed a chance. I sit on the ground and close my eyes Calling, asking permission, His heat radiated gently through me My body admitting submission. He was overjoyed Dancing away in his shrine Couldn't hear the door How I do adore Fiery, Elemental friend of mine. His world can be flames of red But my eye believes that in fact It can be any colour your mind had said © 2013 L4rn13Author's Note
