Are you there, Dearest?A Poem by L3W3LYN"You have much more, why do you frown?" "You have so little, why do you smile?" How is it that one may want more and one may want less... Why do we, as humans wish for such preposterous things...My erudition is as befog as a woodland of spindly conifer This land is as daunting as my arranged demise I crave my misused youth Flying away from those perfidious cries My sympathique is fictitious Am i to sink into your forgotten promise To be swept away like all the others Shall there be a hand Who will save me from my plummet Or who shall assist me in my descend into endless abyss Death no longer holds its pledge of eternal euphoria Why do you grieve when when presented with a stow of jouissance Is that not adequate? Then why do you beam when crestfallen? Are you there dearest Reverend? Cast all my storyteller foolishness away To open my gates to quietus Embrace or deny, my journey has yet unfolded As the choice is as perplexing as ones equivocal Weep my loathsome crow For it shall not be your final But for I it shall© 2016 L3W3LYNAuthor's Note
