Poem about emotions

I'd rather live an emotionless life.

Skip out on the vague sense of joy to avoid the pain and strife. 

With each sigh i feel a slight weight lifted from my heart. 

These emotional loops tear my heart apart.

Life's like a roller coaster. 

But it says you're not supposed to ride with heart conditions on the poster.

Life has its ups and downs,

But thats what makes it worth these rounds. 

Who wants to ride a roller coaster that goes straight anyways?

It can be fun, it can be scary, but it's just a phase!

We're all apart of rides with a different bend,

But when it comes down to it we all have the same stop at the end. 

So then go away and leave me alone.
If I can't trust in people then i'll do it on my own!

In loneliness I'm left in the world of my thoughts.

And then all at once everything that I was just rots!

Whoever said my mind was a safe place to be?

I guess in the end my greatest fear is me.
