Creation of GodA Poem by Innominatam
If the sea were real
and so was his blue and deep eyes fierce like the waves that crashes onto the cliffs like the Blue Moon of Josephine they were cold and distant but his beating heart says otherwise Like the finest of marble as if he was sculpted by no mere simple being seen like work made by hands that belonged in the era of the Renaissance’s one’s lip could muster the name Donatello but it was a work of God through the existence of mankind His skin no fairer than a known Maiden of White nor was it darker than the night itself sun-kissed upon the doing of the unruly bright Sun that lights the Universe though beauty lies skin deep Faraway above blue and grey skies white hanging clouds he is no greater than anyone nor anything nothing more than flesh and bone yet there be those who worship him. © 2019 Innominatam |
