Love and Human Nature.

I've been described as being far too emotional... To that I say "Perhaps"

Never forgetting and constantly reliving past memories, feelings, and circumstance.

I don't know if I feel things more intensely,.. Or just unable to "let go".

I suppose that's my weakness... And yet my strength, allowing me to let my real feelings show.

Brighter then the sun on a cloudless day,..  Darker then a black-out on a moonless night.

You understand this, and yet still love me all the more... even after fight after fight...

 

Why?...

 

Why after all this time are you still around?

I can have you feeling euphoria in a heartbeat,.. Only to just as quickly bring you down.

I have a theory on why... And it's basically just human nature.

But if I had to guess why we are still together,.. It's on this reason I'd wager.

I need only look at the first couple... Adam and Eve.

Alone and shamed they covered in leaves.

Together they stood in the face of our Lord.

Forever in arms, eachother they adored.

Even after the punishment of a mortal life.

And bid that life from then on would be full of stife.

They stayed together...

And will be forever...

 

Human nature... right from the beginning.

True love trumps all... from righteousness to sinning.

That's what I truly feel for you.

And I know it's what you feel for me too.

 

So please... Take my apple... And after it's eaten.

Be it angel wings or the devil's... we're making our own Eden.
