The Heart Bares Many Cries Before It Is WiseA Poem by Kyrelle
I’m too strong as a substance.
I’m too weak for injustice. I’m too wrong for a cumbrance. I’m too meek for your conference discussions. Indeed, the heart bares many cries before it is wise. You may be the talk of the town. You may think you’re the baddest walking around. You may have a heart for the world whom configures the ultimate sound. You may be up one day and the next day down. Indeed, the heart bares many cries before it is wise. Don’t look east or west just believe the hand that is dealt. To improvise whatever the bosom’s felt. Look not to man for man knows naught himself. Look not to worldly possessions but to the hills from whence come’th thine help! Indeed, the heart bares many cries before it is wise. So you’ve dodged a crash. And now you look down on the masses. On donkey asses and you laugh. But surely we’ll see who has the last. Indeed, the heart bares many cries before it is wise. © 2022 Kyrelle |
