Scars and Scratches

Scars and Scratches

A Poem by Kaelyn Shea

Broken and shattered
scars and scratches
but those you dont see
Beauty and kindess
love and perfection
is all there is in your eyes

Inner beauty is more important than that of outer beauty. Inner beauty is forever and outer beauty will fade with time.

It's contradiction.
The scars and scratches are indeed there.
But without seeing this, we only imagine less.
This is a concise poem that shows much :)

This was short, but you packed a lot of emotion and power into it.
Plus, what’s more poetically vibrant than scars and scratches?
Nice work, keep it up!
God bless : )
