All Dies

All Dies

A Poem by Christine Eden
"

Being Heartbroken

"

My eyes are red

I been lying in this bed

You broken my heart

Now I have this curse mark

Mark of bleeding lies

Distrust you just gave me

I loved you

I cared for you

Why did I waste my time?

All you did was run away

and lie to me

Were we meant to be?

I'm just going to leave and

Say goodbye forever?

Despite the the form, which seperates from a-b-a-b to free verse to a c-c to free verse to another rhyme scheme d-d, the poem flows really well. Though it is full of pain, hurt, and depression the prose's soft and gentle words flow well off the tongue and is very relatible too. The Writer as well gives a since of hope and closure in the last lines by leaving and "saying good bye forever"
