Just when I was ready

to leave this world

you came along

and picked me up

 

I fell in love with you

from the start

hoping you would catch me

not let me fall

 

You showed me what love

really is

your never gonna leave

you promised me

 

You gave me a ring

said it's mine forever

gave me a reason

to stay after all

 

Everytime I get to see you

my heart skips a beat

you hold my hand tight

but then you have to leave

 

I know you're way older

but it don't matter

age is but a number

and number's don't matter

I'm really really glad you say that "age is but a number" because honestly, that's nothing but true. People shouldn't care about age when they fall in love with someone, we can't help who we fall for and that's the reality of it. If he's older, so what? If he's younger, again so what? If they make you happy, then go ahead and be with them, you shouldn't be ashamed or worry about what others think.

ok this is well written but I have to say... you should go buy a book (it is really a poem) it is called "The Missing Piece" and it is by poet Shel Silverstein. I have read this book about 30 times. and you should read it too. It can change your life.
