One month

gone and over

left in the dust

to blow away in the wind

 

I loved the whole time

and all you did was play me

I tried to help you

but you just pushed me away

 

You're pissed now

because I said you treated me like s**t

you built me up

to knock me down

 

You never really cared

I thought you was the one

I guess I'll just add it to

my list of ending love's

 

You kept secrets

never told me anything

I gave you my heart

and you set it to flames

 

You were my firefighter

my protecter

but when I need you

you was never there

 

I spent days crying

because of our fights

but it don't matter anymore

because I'm slowly getting closure

 

I'm single again

but maybe it's a good thing

it showed me that maybe

we weren't meant to be
