A Better Place

Living in a world

where I can't do anything right

living in a home

that I'm always wrong

 

I cant' do anything

because I am nothing

drifting away in a sea of dreams

of a better place and a better life

 

Waiting for my hero

to come and save me

to take my away

to a better place

 

Wishing on a star

my wish will never come true

I've gave up on wishes

becasue wishes only come true in movies

 

Watching stars fall from the sky

as i slowly close my eyes

gone to bed

forever

 

Finally in a better place

without my hero

nobody with me

alone as usual

 

Flying in the sky

with my sun-kissed wings

lookin down at everyone

that looked down on me

 

Their smilling and laughing

because I'm gone

no one crying

nobody caring

 

But this place is better

it's peaceful

no heartaches

no pain
