Shimmer

Shimmer

A Poem by kym820

SHIMMER

In the crowd I feel him…Smell him

So many faces make it difficult to find him

There is a rancid smell of rotting flesh…He is close

I begin to shimmer- to the human eye it looks like I am shivering, but I am rapidly passing between the past and the present

I see the sins of him, it sickens me

The shimmering‘s more intense, I feel the pull as he passes by

I follow there is work to be done.
