Sesame St.

Sesame St.

A Poem by K.A. Wealand

Waking up
to a chorus of socks,
and offensively colored muppets,
inspires sacrilege

But once
the miasma, of sleep
and the lousy day prior,
scurries off

I can’t help but marvel,
at the whimsical speed of

recovery.
