Just a Couple of CatsA Poem by K.A. Wealandugh.
We’re a couple of torn-down cats in room one-twenty-one,
declawed of emotional fronts and sopping wet. We’ve got salty brew in our milk bowls and our tails are raw. Can’t scurry up a tree, they’re all razed down. We’re just a couple of torn-down cats in room one-twenty-one. © 2009 K.A. Wealand |
