Angel Of SorrowA Poem by Kyle J. LawsonA poem about and old ghost that has recently come back to haunt me.Not the size of your bosom, what lured me in But the warmth of a soul, and the touch of two hands Beauty like gems, fresh from the Earth Years of torment, is what was endured
A friend like that, is one in ten thousand A friend that pulls with you, through every transition Some call it ignorance, some call it devotion The one this is meant for, is oblivious to the notion
My Angel Of Sorrow, with your black feathered wings Your presence is needed, my sanity you keep Frozen over, by the bitterness of a heart My burning spirit, will thaw it apart
You soar through the sky ,so very far from home Caught in a web, one of your own With those wings of umbra, you swoop down so fast Covering my soul, the depression unpassed
Bind me with your feathers, speak into my ears Your voice like a ghost, ethereal but so near As we spiral into madness, one final thought Leave me be, my angel of sorrow, There is no reconciliation for your sins © 2013 Kyle J. LawsonAuthor's Note
