Genocide of Broken HeartsA Poem by Love-shadowed SilhouettesI wrote this 16/10/10 It's not totally emo so it might be more relatable or something, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, I'm probably gonna turn it into a song once I get a piano keyboard. With every passing memory of how it all used to be You rip my broken heart off my fraying sleeve
With every passing minute I Pray to that nothing in this sky That someday you'll feel like I do, look at how real This is.
So let me cry Tears don't hurt anyone but she who's eyes pour out these pain-filled drops of unrequited love You could stop the waves from crashing Nothings stopping you from asking Why I find it hard to breathe When you're beside me. So please End this genocide of broken hearts and dreams
I'm not ready to heal I'm not ready to seal All my troubles away Unless I can keep them to bring out on a cloudy day
I am already scarred I have wandered so far from what I thought was were I belonged, but now I swear, I'm there.
So let me cry Tears don't hurt anyone but she who's eyes pour out these pain-filled drops of unrequited love You could stop the waves from crashing Nothings stopping you from asking Why I find it hard to breathe When you're beside me. So please End this genocide of broken hearts and dreams
Could he love me with my scars?
