Open Door

Open Door

A Poem by A Word

Acknowledge in your life what is an open door in the middle of the desert.

No matter how you go around it or through it you are in the same place

It doesn't matter if the door is opened or closed

It is there soley to decieve you.

It is intended to keep you inside the box.

Doors are meant to be opened and closed -

to walk in and out of ~ that is what you know.

But as soon as you walk away

you step into a life of new possiblities.

When you are trapped by the idea of a door

You fail to realize the whole desert is yours.

The door never mattered.

It is simply an obstacle you must overcome

and then move away from.

When you look back,

is the door still in sight?

Beyond the open door, there's a new and fresh horizon. Inside the door, the air, stifles and chokes.

Nicely done...
