ContentmentA Poem by Kwiksie IfedioraWe all should have her.She knows not the meaning of the word ‘complain’. Giving thanks is that which she bests. Mumbling and grumbling are such a strain, And envy, she greatly detests. She stands out in the midst of countless. There’s this uniqueness belonging to her alone. She’s a blessing and a gift, doubtless. From the creator, father and cornerstone. It’s so easy to spot the difference, The peace she possesses is one-of-a-kind. All greed and covetousness are but a nuisance, Satisfied or lacking, it’s all in the mind. We should follow this lovely example, Get rid of all the malice and resentment. If we are grateful and see our blessings as ample, Then she’ll be unveiled, this beauty that is contentment. © 2013 Kwiksie IfedioraAuthor's Note
