As the pristine clouds part, yielding

Surrendering to the sun

Glaciers glistening gracefully

Fresh snowfall, packed loosely, shining

Inexorably melting

Prime peaceful precipitation

Magnificent, jutting mountain

Snow-capped rocky, organic

Secretive slopes, slyly showing

Infinite wonders far up north

Separate from city life

Arctic Alaska awaiting

This is a great romantic poem about Alaska. I visited in the summer. I don't think I could live through those months of frigid temperatures. Nicely done. Eileen
