Keep This In Mind: The Law of the Universe

A Story by Jessica R.
"

A view on Karma.

The world consists of many layers.

Imagine the earth is a tree, okay?

You know how when a tree is cut down, the stump that remains can tell you how many years that tree had been there? Picture the rings. See how the first one, the core ring, is surrounded by another ring, and then another, and another.

Are you picturing them?

This is very similar to our world. Only, the rings I am talking about are more like layers. These layers are other worlds, other dimensions, if you will.

I suppose you could call them parallel universes, if that definition makes more sense to you.

These other universes are host to a number of beings or, souls, whom are at different levels of their spiritual development because of the choices they have made in their previous lives.

There are low level beings. These feed off fear, and can make a room feel very heavy. They vibrate lower than most beings, lower than humans. They can become things known as ‘attachments’. When an individual is ‘clearing’ their house, it may be because of some low level disturbances in their space.

Humans rank somewhere in the middle.

Then, there are high level beings. Some people may refer to them as angels. These beings vibrate higher and operate from love at all times.

There are, of course, many levels in between those three I have just described. However, I am not going to get into all of them. As those three, the three main ones, can give you enough of a general idea.

Beings or, souls, may shift between levels according to the choices they made in previous lives, like advancing up the rungs of a ladder. A shift in spiritual awareness or evolution is the bump that will boost you up or down a rung.

This is where Karma and the law of Karmic debt come into play.

Do you know what Karma is?

Most people consider karma to be a punishment individuals are given in return for past bad actions. This is quite false. Karma is neither judge, nor jury. It does not think because it is not a conscious, omnipotent entity.

Karma, in short, is the law of the Universe.

The law of cause and effect.

Karma states that every thought, word and action carries with it energy into this world, and affects our present reality.

Karmic debt is created when an individual’s cause has not yet had its effect. For example, if one were to commit a crime, robbery perhaps, and they were never caught and punished in the life in which they committed the crime then that individual would have karmic debt.

Karmic debt is recorded for each individual. It is a part of the soul. However, karmic debt itself is not negative. It is because of such debt, that we learn some of the most influential of life’s lessons.

It is because of such debt, that we are able to evolve in consciousness.

Negative effects are not always in response to a negative cause. Or rather, not every bad experience that happens to us is because of something bad we have done. In most cases, it can be found that the bad experience has often lain way for a positive result.

Example: An individual who works very hard and rests very little is suddenly involved in a car accident. The car accident leaves the individual incapacitated, and in hospital for several months. The individual may see this as a purely negative consequence, perhaps for some bad thing they may have done in their past. However, it is more likely that this event occurred to make the individual slow down enough to enjoy life, and rest a little along the way.

It is important to keep this law in mind when judging the intention of a situation.

This is probably one of the few pieces that I have written, or will be writing, directly related to a type of religion. Obviously, the concept of karma stems from Buddhist beliefs.

Nice. I do believe in karma. You have an almost whimsical way(without being too cute) of explaining things. I enjoyed it.
