Forever autumn at the parkA Poem by poddar kushal
For ever autumn at the park
Wind makes tunnel through the heap of leaves.
They blast, scatter; explode in the sky,
in slow motion fall on your hair,
stay there until someone picks them
from whimsical tresses and asks
the reason of your being so late.
A slow recession is setting in
your mind and a draught, one can feel
these days. You can whine on and on
though you won’t, for her hazel eyes deserve
better. The newspapers cannot
report the story you weave.
Less thespian they are, tranquil life
as the nature loves to draw in it’s
canvass. Unchangeable, eternal,
ethereal… mere recession, boom,
accession and gale, draught do not
effect the theme. To you autumn is
for ever. /© 2008 - All Rights Reserved Kushal Poddar
