A Kitty party of disturbed minds

A Kitty party of disturbed minds

A Poem by poddar kushal

Kitty party of disturbed mind
Disturbed minds in a kitty party, talk of
pink happiness with the covert tongues.
A kitchen garden with a crow and its
curious peaks is growing tired buds.
Pale sun lies on the lean porch. Smells of scones
and tea and gutters inside purposeless
talks. The month of September
rustles on a flying calendar.
She can not suppress any more.
The cut on her left cheek
tells louder tale
than she can ever weave.
Tell them the myth of non violence;
tell them tall tales of campfires and fairies.
Tell them something hushed
you have learned from rumors
till now does not exist
and crumble down
upon a head-resting bed
after they have gone.
Of course you want them back the weekend next,
for all of them lives in the same plain
so far it is the question of happiness.

Great title. So the girls gather n blather. But all not well perhaps. I read the crow to be a surly husband. Note your trademake use of light n shade, which gives poem a painterly feel. The cut on the cheek says 'my man is beating me up'? Love is a fairy tail here. Ach, and the girls are all in the same boat, one way or another.

Great metaphor! The kittys .... and their shallow conversations,
where they hide the depth and the pain of their reality. Deflect. Deflect.

And misery loves company.

Awesome write!

A kitty party makes me think of an image from my childhood... All the neighbourhood cats lying on our lawn, during an indian summer... As a kid I sometimes wondered what they were on about.
Your poem provides the explanation...
However, sometimes it seems to me that you have minor grammar issues...
A Kitty Party of Disturbed minds works. But A Kitty Party of Disturbed Mind leaves me somewhat confused.
I would go for Disturbed Minds at the Kitty Party, which is much more clear to the reader.
