Faith: the wooden sword

Faith: the wooden sword

A Poem by poddar kushal

This is the result of some dream rising inside after a quarrel with a friend who has importance enough to cause bleeding. At night I dream of a fight and that I am left bleeding at a desert. I woke up and realize I shall wait for more of our friendship. Then in a letter of my dear friend Alison I got the word Wooden sword. So I pen this two minutes ago.

Faith (to the faithful world)

Sometimes someone comes just to hurt you deep.

The drops of salt-water conjures in side,

grow into pearls as myth claims and are plucked

by somebody else. Rusts still deep down you

move to pick up a wooden sword and join

the festival of the non-violence.

A mirage of thirst is shimmering and

you are waiting for the cruel one to return.

You have faith enough to endure some more…

I thought the author's note was as engaging as the poem. I love when you said it was a friend who has enough importance to cause bleeding. This came from that place, but with the abiding hope that faith provides that says reconciliation is possible Well done sir.

Very clever, this is very deep with emotion of your plight in your friendship. Nicely done, I enjoyed this peice a lot.

The poem itself is a wonderful account of your feelings. I love you sense of sentence structure and choice of images as always.
I also like the introduction to the poem. It describes where you are coming from.
However, there are some grammatical mistakes in the introduction, which luckily do not affect the content.
I hope things will get better with your friendship, because nothing is worse than having a worthy friendship broken off by a pointless argument or in some cases, by no argument at all.
