stalker

A Poem by poddar kushal

    Stalker
A hand reaches me everywhere.
However more elusive, I become.
The shadow of its voice roams on,
Doubts it generates, watch with feline eyes.
Ignore it but it remains there
In the isolated beach called “mind”.

I enjoy the multiple choice your poetry offers. It can be taken anyway the reader chooses and be anything the reader sees.

To me, this speaks of depression and recovery.

A recovery that is always in danger of slipping back, because the voice is always there stalking in the background.

Ignore, deny, refuse... it waits, watching for the instant to stike.

A mind being stalked by depression.

A good write, I enjoyed this.

Thank you

Nicely penned. I like your experimentation with fonts. They really help to make this piece more interesting and attractive. Keep up the good work!

yes, the things within our heads are often much more dangerous than the things outside our heads. Nicely done.

Stalkers can incite paranoia too...very nicely done.

"However more elusive, I become". Loved this part!

Trying to outrun...I've been in those shoes.

Stalkers can be so subtle you can indeed start to doubt your own mind... But just that moment when they have reached, they have reached their goal. They have succeeded in isolating your mind so their madness is driving you insane!

You couldn't know how timely this is. A friend of mine is dealing with just such a twisted individual. She's lurking right here among us in the cafe.
