Rain rainA Poem by poddar kushalRain rainMother told her to save them for rainy days. The rain drops on the future this noon. This noon of annihilated sun.
And, this day she breaks her piggy bank. Opened, a note from a distant land With roaming nomads of memory Flies out. It flies to and fro, settles On the dust over a black book case. A currency it is, to be cashed In a different plain, in a world With strange lights and figures of the past. A sepia lane and lame cat crossing… A sparrow touched by death A motherly hand placed on her head. Mother told her to save them for rainy days
