ascend of a human

A Poem by poddar kushal

Ascend of a human

--------------------------------------------------

A yellow star with love and power shines.

Rays are all I need at this moment of

Cactus grown on the uterus of mind.

To the sun I rise from the sea of white.

Depressions are dense water fathomless.

From my hair the salt of grief dropping still.

Golden sand spreads a promised land to rest.

Nostril flows with light smell of fish and boats.

I remove the embrace of sea-algae.

The sand alone witness the love’s ascend

And, air brings the white cloth as my cover.

Welcome me. I am human again.

"Depressions are dense water fathomless...I remove the embrace of sea-algae...Welcome me. I am human again. : perfect description of the struggle to break through depression and the struggle to swim to the surface...and being depressed DOES make us feel somewhat un-human, doesn't it?
"Rays are all I need at this moment of Cactus grown on the uterus of mind" yes! Just a little hope is all we need, a kind word, a kind deed, a person to say " I am here for you, let m ehelp" all these things provide the energy we need to stave off the darkness. Well, done, my friend.

ah, the birth of humankind. the ascension of the spirit above all that seeks to swallow it whole. i am such an ocean lover ; i love this metaphor. your writings are flowing easier, your images more graphic with each piece i am reading lately. i am filing this one away in my library. excellent.

After reading this twice, I get the feeling of a baptism taking place. Don't know if that is what was really intended, but that is what I see. It is a great piece with excellent wording. You have done well with this one. Bravo!

Such an uproar and barrage of words, I hard knew where to start! Saying that the thread was easy to follow because in amongst the down pour were definate triggers that brought us back from the edge. Mx
