they arrested Pa

they arrested Pa

A Poem by poddar kushal

They arrested pa!

The storm on the northern sky

He eyes the yellow painted door,

Fingers quivered on touch of

The ancient woods and red bricks.

The crisscross of the net flap

And, the checkered face behind it….

Waiting path on the rolling

Infinity is waiting to

Take him away to the world

That will be his for one year.

This left me with a sense of loss.. and a little confusion.. I'm not sure whether to feel like its a gaol or is it like being sent off for something else, almost a cause of some sorts.. arrested for what?.. if you would mind disclosing I'd like to know the deeper meaning behind this.

Such a short piece seem to move in slow motion all the way to the inevitable end.

I really felt this work. Your presentation and organization was breathtaking. Subtle, yet telling. Cheers.

i had to reread this several times. a great sense of sadness overwhelmed me from the opening with a northern storm and quivering fingers, infinity and the finality of a year's imprisonment. touched my heart. well done.

i found the rhythm wonderful to read out loud
i dint understand the meanings in this one
i'm sure it was very deep but rhythm alone
you dont need to understand the lyrics
if the song is beautiful. rated 100 in my book
