A Poem by poddar kushal

Torn pages

Torn pages from daily dreams and diaries.

They are all scattered on the blue carpet.

Pick up a piece and wet your palm

The color of blue digs deep roots within.

A Sunday is emptied out of an old box

A treasure and a ghost roam and their sighs

You can’t wipe, can’t wipe, from your fogging eyes.

Time lays loose and you shut in the old box.

This doesn't come across as happy memories you're digging in, and I had quite the same issue yesterday, if I'm right on that take. Trying to get a monologue written for class....I found some old attempts and resurrected old things I didn't really want to remember feeling. Blue....like blood. I liked this piece and though I may not have decoded it correctly, it still speaks to me and that's good enough on my end....hope on yours as well. Good write.

This has strange and mysterious qualities. I love the images very much.

I too read this twice and found it to be a rather complex piece despite it's brevity. The images it conjures up are really haunting and I couple almost see the dust settling around me as I read it.

This is truly exquisite writing. The first stanza, I could just read and reread that and still glean beautiful images just from those lines. My only complaint - because when I find something I like I always want more - is that you write more on this theme. I'm sure - if you wanted to - you could find all kinds of things to explore here.

This is a great piece which is very well written and explained.
This is for me actually a very complex piece with a sense of frustration in it (and that why I read it thrice :D )
A very emotional piece.
Superb read overall! :)
