parallel

parallel

A Poem by poddar kushal

Parallel

Every parallel line meets at the eternity.

Their figures rise from the fog,

From the end of the lines,

From the point of return to difference.

They are conversing in a deep loquacity

A dry spray of dust in the air.

The infinite rolls of rails are mourning.

They wait to end their talk and depart

            To oblivion.

The talk lingers like the patient cat

    In search of its home-alley.

The friends do not know any home!

Home, abode, asylum….

Sky begins to drop,

Softly and pliant like an inducing death.

The take

The easy shelter of philosophical talks.

And, of course they beg to differ.

From the distance

They may look the meeting point.

I loved the structure of this piece, they way you rounded up and captured the "what ifs" and questions at the end was very well done. I almost want to shout out loud "parrallel, how would know .......", question, always question. Brilliantly crafted honey. Mx

Some fantasic language in this write! I really like 'inducing death' and 'deep loquacity'. I love it when poets draw from all the corners of the language, and this is something that you do here! Quality write!

Quite nice, rather good imagery here though abstract. Every parallel line meeting at eternity I found to be interesting somewhat lonely and perplexed as to how parallels meet well perhaps there is some invisible wall to bend the line to some thin funnel or the like.. Who knows really. A dry spray of dust in the air made me think of a person laughing with a mouthful of chewed dry biscuit, and then made me think they better not inhale till they swallow.
Favorite part?

"The easy shelter of philosophical talks.
And, of course they beg to differ.

From the distance
They may look the meeting point."

I kind of like that notion.

It is a great and superb and a confusing peice! I can so therefore say that it is a greatly confusing peice written superbly. The effect that you created by the mix up lines, the parrell lines are a cracker. Thanks for sharing it in here! ~KA~
