The Silver Screen

The Silver Screen

A Poem by Kurt Gargis
"

Poem inspired by a MCR song...And yes, the last two lines are borrowed from that song.

"

The Silver Screen

I watched my life on a Screen
Of wasted thoughts and dreams.
It was a cliche of a scene
That never differed in themes.

I looked on at an act,
And saw how happy I was.
It was a matter of fact.
But how short-lived it was!

So I set my tears on the shelf,
And say to the Screen:
"I hate the ending myself,
But it started with an alright scene."
