WolfA Poem by WolfSometimes denying what you are costs dearly.
In the Horizon I saw the darkness
Of the clouds coming closer. I ignored them. Another storm which the wind will blow it away. Sunny times were just an illusion, The calm before the storm. As the storm hits, I'm being thrown away, My heart dragged through dirt And stepped on with no hesitation! Entire days I've been left in the dark. No light to guide me out of it. I dug my way through the insanity of the darkness, To escape it and end up in the woods... I tried to run away from what I am, Wear a mask of something I am not... Past events tried to remind me, The last storm woke me up to reality. For now I will throw my heart in the frozen lake, Then put it in a stone And bury it deep inside my chest. I remember myself! I'm the outcast everybody is running from; The Wolf everybody fears to encounter; The lone Wolf walking the snowy fields of the woods. Remember the dark nights, When you heard the howl of the Beast? The silence broken by the shout... Of the Wild... A lone Beast wandering the fields, Shrouded in the shadows of the woods; Shrouding himself in mystery, From the eyes of the ones around him. Hiding his feelings, Shrouding them, burying them Deep in the darkest corners of his soul. I'm the Wolf, I walk the road while Silence and the Deepest Dark Are becoming my sweetest company, Trusting them and myself only. I am an outcast, A wanderer, Alone... A Wolf.
