Ash

Through shadows he creeps, down the dark ally way
Down into shadow deep as his heart.
Purged into darkness, he soul seems to be
will he ever find the will to break out?

Down the path that he's chosen, lost he will be.
forever indecisive is his heart.
where theirs darkness, theirs light he thinks so himself
though it seems, his light has gone out

through the darkness a shape that takes form
it's the shape of a girl, with eyes as green as the sea
she takes his hand as she says, "life isn't all that it seems."

into the dark they go, into the very depths of his heart
"their" she says as she point to a rose
"it proves that theirs love in your heart."

The boy beside himself falls to his knees
"but their still is no way to get out.."
the girl taking his face in her hands, she kisses him
as fast as it came, darkness disapears
light flooded in, as bright and as white as the moon

their laughing voices danced along with the wind.
through the murmur of the forest was a gentle sound
for a fleeting moment, he feels a happiness he's only dreamed
as he holds her tight in his arms.
his face in her hair, he thanks her for all that she's done
embracing, as the sun calls the dawn
the glitering sunset was a promise for tomorrow
