Parting

Parting

A Poem by ZangetsuKurosaki

so many thoughts that drift silently in my mind
if only i could reach out and move forward the hands of time!
would you still be the one i call mine?
or will you belong to another?
the one who had become your biggest blunder?

Oh these thought drift silent
Like a sea; raging and violent!
whom will you choose in the end?
Forgive me, it seems i'll have to contend

for you, oh dearest to my heart
i can never let seem me fall apart
even though you cannot see,
your what matters most to me

these fears, these worries
I wish their where stronger words then 'i love you'
for those words, they bend and break
and it seem theirs so much more at stake

I have sat and watch the hands of time
how these years have seemed sublime
but i fear, my time has come
and so i'll say my last goodbye
for the hour of our parting grows nigh

wishing, forever more, you were somehow mine
...

Full of such sadness and sorrow. It's powerful and apparent the loss the reader feels as they read this.
