A Trohpy Father's Tophy Son

A Trohpy Father's Tophy Son

A Poem by Angela
"

"Why did you do it?" ... "No one will understand, so I can't tell you why."

"

I don't want to be your prodigy.

The medals and trophies don't mean a thing.

You're heart is a piece of coal,

     burning in hell.

I'll watch you go up in flames and pour gasoline on your corpse.

Father,

     why don't you understand?

Materialism and money don't rule the world.

It's time for change,

and getting rid of trash like you,

was number one on my list.

Angela
Anything wrong with this? Tell me if it needs work!
This was inspired by the song, Dead Walker Texas Ranger by Sleeping With Sirens.
The title was "taken" from thier (Sleeping With Sirens) song "A Trophy Father's Trophy Son".
Comment are very much loved! ♥
