The Settling Soul

The Settling Soul

A Poem by KurKota
"

Internal conflicts resolved

"
My mind and my heart
At times seem so apart..
Thoughts seem to drift
Away from the heart, so swift!

It is if the body contains
Of two, and their pains!

Words from one attempts to smother
Those uttered by the other..

But the master, the soul
Settles the matter and makes it whole!

I love that line. The conflict between mind and heart is one we all face. Well penned!
