Opening a new BookA Poem by James Cooper T.This ain't April fools. Over 4 months of waiting since Abe had been gone, I am ending the chapter by closing the book of my life. Opening a new one.OPENING A NEW BOOK Last I wrote the Silence of Abe, I thought she might come to me. Waited for four moons, things were never meant to be. Over four moons was with me, and it was a key. To not howl anymore of how bitter of the absence of thee. I hoped, and hoped, and hoped even more. I questioned, "Is this worth waiting for?" Distracted with the sea and pleasure, In heart it is sailing in void and torture. Before I discovered that Abe was not she is. In four moons we were together, And in four moons it vanishes with her. And in mirror I looked, and whisper in Abyss. What was our bond for? What have I been blinded and missed? In regret I said, "Careful what flower you pick." I ... was ... in ... trick... I ... was ... so ... sick... I ... was ... hit ... on ... a ... brick... Now ... heal ... me ... quick ... and ... take ... me ... to... a ... medic... And good bye hectic... slick... tragic... music. For I will move on and away from that of a mimic. Now in this moment came a new flower. I'd like to admire her. And hope this new one be grandeur, and this time it will be better. In person I am closer, and further I can endure. At one moment and one glance. I knew I want her romance. She finds comfort in Dernière danse. Which got me addicted on listening once. But this time I hope to get a chance. And take little steps on my advance. This time I'll take my hope from the most High. Praying for her reaching to the sky. And if hope comes to my eye, there beside her I may lie.
