Friendship( a poem by a friend of mine)

my friend tim wrote this poem and it touched me dearly, i do not take credit for it i just want people to know that there is that this type of friendship that can't be broken

I pledge to you,

my solemn word

to protect you with all my might,

To respect and lovingly care for you,

eveniour blight,

For when our darkest time should come,

and eternal night shall fall,

of my passing life shall fade

to watch over your dad

shall I die in place of you

and fullfil my current purpose

For your mind will settle and great peace sets over us,

and when my tree of life goes bare,

remember the love we share.
