This is what I want

I don't want a fancy house

I don't want a diamond ring

I don't want several cars

And a private beach just for me

 

What's the point in having everything

When there's no one to share with

I wouldn't want that

I want someone to love me

 

Someone that laughs with me

Someone who holds me when I cry

And will stay with me

When we grow old and grey

 

Money can't buy happiness and love

I've known this for so long

Since I was a child

And that is all I want:

To be loved by someone

 

Now all I want

Is to ask you this:

Will you be that someone for me?
