Cloud Over City

Cloud Over City

A Poem by Kumarmani Mahakul
"

This poem is written basing on perception of cloud and weather. Poet watches nature's beauty and feels rain's necessity. Starting from trees to all creatures wait for rain after summer to welcome.

"
Cloud over city is getting ready,
Opening black wings of creamy body,
Giving dream of joy to all trees
And colours to paint new buildings,
Swimming in wobbled wind and singing,
Cloud is suddenly going to rain here.

Beauty and benevolence have joined,
Hands are in shake by trees in city,
Dreams have gathered in entire sky,
No retirement is seen in youthful joy,
Judgement of nature has come to accept,
After summer rainy season has come,
To play over city and in lap of Earth,
Cloud over city is still and thinking.

Being a nature lover you feel and fell,
Moment of drinking nectar is closer sure,
Opening mouth birds will drink raindrops
And leaves will drink to become more green,
Monsoon has its movement over city sky,
Cloud's heart is beating in love and care.

Hello sir,
It is pleasure to find your poem in this platform
I am also belongs to odisha
But I am not so good at litreture
That's why it will be wrong
If I review your poem.
But as of my knowledge ,
Your poem beautifully expressed how
the monsoon treats the nature

'Cloud Over City'
Kumarmani Mahakul,
I understand the beauty relayed above. The heavy promise of rain is exciting to see-to anticipate.
The winds come howling in a preliminary sign of the coming showers. Yes the creatures and all green trees and plants get the needed drink of sustenance. Beautiful.
Blessings,
Kathy

welcome to the cafe....
I really like the idea of earth's creatures dreaming of sustenance and then being showered upon....how the rain is a dream come true.
We don't appreciate nature enough...you give it life.
One suggestion I have is to not give a description of the poem that tells us what you were writing about, but rather let the readers own the poem on their level and interpretation.
quite a calming write.
